Our Rule

Why We Only Use 7 Ingredients
(Our Radical Simplicity Rule)

Not a marketing number. A constraint we designed the entire product around — including the parts of the business it makes harder.

Seven isn't a round number we landed on because it sounded good on a label. It's the ingredient count you get when you start from real, whole foods and refuse to add anything beyond what's needed to make an 18g-protein breakfast that's ready in three minutes.

The seven, named

1Almonds or hazelnuts
2Rolled oats
3Vegan protein isolate
4Chia seeds
5Coconut sugar
6Cardamom or sea salt
7Desiccated coconut or cacao

Every ingredient in a LoveArth oat cup has to justify its place: real nuts for texture and healthy fat, oats for the fibre base, a protein isolate to hit 18g, chia for fibre and omega-3s, one named sweetener, one real-food flavour, and nothing else. No gums, no fillers, no preservatives, no stabilisers.

Why most protein products don't stop at seven

Most packaged protein foods in India carry fifteen to twenty-plus ingredients, and it's usually not because they need more nutrition — it's because mass production and long shelf lives demand it. A product that has to survive weeks in a warehouse, months on a shelf, and a truck ride across the country often needs gums to hold its texture and preservatives to hold its shelf life. Those additions aren't nutritional. They're logistical.

We make our oat cups in small batches in Nashik, which changes that math. Shorter production runs and tighter distribution mean we don't need the same shelf-stability engineering a national FMCG brand running six-month inventory cycles does. The simplicity isn't just a philosophy — it's a direct consequence of choosing to stay handmade over automated.

Every ingredient we didn't add is a decision we made on purpose, not an accident of running out of room on the label.

What this actually costs us

Being honest about the trade-off: seven ingredients means less shelf stability than a product built for a six-month distribution cycle, tighter batch sizes than a factory line, and less margin for error in sourcing — if one ingredient's quality dips, there's nothing else in the formula to mask it. We accept that. A shorter ingredient list has nowhere to hide a bad batch, and we'd rather be accountable to that than pad the list with something that quietly fixes the problem for us.

What it gets you

  • 18g of protein per 74g cup, from whole-food sources
  • No added sugar beyond one clearly stated sweetener
  • An ingredient list you can read out loud without stumbling
  • Ready in under 3 minutes with hot water or milk

Quick answers

What are the 7 ingredients in LoveArth protein oats?

Real nuts (almonds or hazelnuts), gluten-free rolled oats, a vegan protein blend, chia seeds, coconut sugar, a real-food flavour (cardamom or sea salt), and desiccated coconut or cacao.

Why do most protein products use more than 7 ingredients?

Mass production and long shelf lives often require gums, stabilisers, and preservatives to hold texture and freshness through large-scale manufacturing and distribution.

Does fewer ingredients mean less nutrition?

No — it means fewer additions beyond what's necessary. Our 7-ingredient cups still deliver 18g of protein per serving; the constraint is on additives, not on nutritional content.

Seven ingredients. Printed on top of every cup.
